The 10 principles of the UN Declaration on the Rights of the Child is a publication aimed not only to children but also to adults. The beautiful images that adorn the book is the painter Emmanuel Death.
A very tender book, written by Marianne B. Vardinoyannis includes some thoughts and observations she have made as the mother of five children, around the sensitive issue, the child and his relationships with parents and environment.
The International Meeting “PARTHENON: The Integrity of a Symbolic Monument -The Role of Citizens-An International Campaign” was organized by the “Marianna V. Vardinoyannis Foundation” in cooperation with “Melina Mercouri Foundation”, at the Acropolis Museum on 26th of June, 2014. This meeting is the first step of the new international campaign for the Reunification of Parthenon Sculptures, called “Return-Restore-Restart”.

On the 20th of March 2014, at the Children’s Oncology Unit “Marianna V. Vardinoyannis-ELPIDA”, the official opening of the Bone Marrow Donor Bank “ORAMA ELPIDAS” was held in the presence of representatives of the Church, the State, the diplomatic world, the scientific community, members of the Association of Friends of Children with cancer “ELPIDA”, friends and supporters of the Association.
