The State Dance Ensemble and the State Symphony Orchestra of Azerbaijan impressed the people that had filled the Herodion Theatre and applauded warmly 120 Azeri artists, who offered a glimpse of the rich cultural heritage of Azerbaijan, combining the eternal dance tradition of Caucasus, the unique timbre of the music that balances between the classic and the modern, the traditional and cosmopolitan.

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Greece in collaboration with the “”Heydar Aliyev” Foundation” and the “”Marianna V. Vardinoyannis Foundation” ” had the initiative to organize this show, which was held in the presence of the First Lady of Azerbaijan , Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, President of “”Heydar Aliyev Foundation”” and Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and of Mrs Marianna V. Vardinoyannis, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and President of the “Marianna V. Vardinoyannis” Foundation”, who are associated with strong ties of friendship and co-operation.
Welcoming attendees at the Herodium, in fluently Greek, HE the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Greece, Mr. Rahman Mustafayev, stressed that this show is the culmination of the program of the cultural events of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Greece in 2014 , while most of the actions have already been scheduled for 2015 , for further and continuous development of bilateral cultural, diplomatic and economic relations between the two countries.
Presenter of the show was Mrs. Eugenia Manolidou who emphasized the double cause, the cultural and the humanitarian, since the proceeds of the show will be donated to support the ““Support Schools”” of the “Marianna V. Vardinoyannis Foundation””.
