‘THE PARTHENON’S EXPATRIATE GODDESSES’ EVENT MARKING INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

An emblematic and highly symbolic event, dedicated to the ‘The Parthenon’s Expatriate Goddesses’, was organised by the Acropolis Museum and the Marianna V. Vardinoyannis Foundation on Tuesday 8 March 2022, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, attended by Her Excellency the President of the Hellenic Republic, Ms Katerina Sakellaropoulou.

Under the light of the Acropolis, in the exemplary Parthenon Gallery, with leading British art historian Dr Tom Flynn as keynote speaker, a powerful global message was sent on the urgent need to return the Parthenon Marbles,

The two major issues of TOMORROW:  Open Science and Artificial Intelligence were the focus of the Virtual Round Table ‘Open Science-Artificial Intelligence: New Horizons, Visions, and Boundaries, which was co-organised by the ‘Marianna V. Vardinoyannis Foundation’  and ‘ELPIDA-Association of Friends of Children with Cancer’, under the auspices of UNESCO, on Tuesday, 15 February 2022, on the occasion of International Childhood Cancer Day.
